WHY
MAINTENANCE
MATTERS

AIR COOLER CARE

An air cooler pulls dusty outside air through wet pads, all day, for months. That is a demanding job. Coolers that get basic care regularly outlast neglected ones by years — and most service complaints we receive trace back to skipped cleaning, not a faulty product.

Regular care protects performance, airflow and long-term reliability.
During The Season

WEEKLY
MAINTENANCE

5 MINUTES
A simple five-minute routine keeps your cooler clean, balanced and performing properly throughout the season.
Adding clean water to an air cooler
01
Water

Check the water level and refill with clean water.

Cleaning cooling pads
02
Cooling Pads

Look at the pads. If they appear dusty or crusted, they need cleaning.

Cleaning the exterior of an appliance
03
Exterior

Wipe the exterior with a dry cloth.

Checking water flow and appliance maintenance
04
Water Flow

Check that water is flowing evenly over all pads when the pump runs. Uneven flow means partial cooling.

A few minutes of care each week can keep cooling performance consistent.

MONTHLY
MAINTENANCE

20–30 MINUTES
A simple monthly routine helps keep your cooler clean, efficient and performing properly throughout the season.
Switching off and unplugging an air cooler

Draining an air cooler water tank

Removing and rinsing cooling pads
03
Cooling Pads

Cleaning an air cooler water tank
04
Tank Cleaning

Clean the tank interior to remove sediment and mineral deposits.

Checking an air cooler pump inlet
05
Pump Inlet

Check the pump inlet for blockage. This is the most common cause of “cooler suddenly stopped cooling”.

Refilling an air cooler with clean water
06
Refill & Refit

Refill with clean water and refit the pads correctly.

A few minutes of monthly care can keep cooling performance consistent.
